    Colorado Cars and Colors

We attended the Cars and Colors festival in Telluride this past weekend. A '65 911 won People's Choice award at the Saturday Concourse. It was white, pristine, original, and, I believe, low mileage. That said, it was disappointing that the Concourse was very small, perhaps 30 cars, several of which were modern. We were entered for the Porsche rally, but after driving almost 7 hours to get there, and facing another 7 to get home, I just wasn't interested in driving another 8 hours for the rally. However, the warbirds exhibit and speakers were great, and the fall foliage was beyond spectacular. EDIT: Sorry about misspelling 'Colorado', but this antiquated bulletin board won't allow me to edit the header.

Unfortunately we missed it this year. We rolled our reservation over to next year. Personally we enjoyed the drive as much as the event. I love the roads over there. Here is a picture from last year.
