Thread: 70-S front fuel pump mounting question..

    70-S front fuel pump mounting question..

    As disassembled, my 70-S did not have part numbers 43 & 44. If they were present originally the previous owner discarded them and used only the fuel pump bracket (number 38) and secured with a clamp (number 39). It is unclear to me what the missing parts do...would appreciate thoughts. Thank you.

    I think those are 69 only.

    Subscribed. I would like to know this too. Chris, are you saying item 43 is 69 only..?

    Actually...

    I owned an early 70S that had a front pump mount clamped to crossmember.

    The part in the colour photo in post 1 looks different to the parts in your post Frank.? Was that wine last night better than i thought...

    Yes, smuggler's box reinforcement in your photo matches mine exactly. Curious to know what the configuration Frank posted fits??
