Yeah, like these with a station-wagon body....

BTW- The red/gold car is a 1969 shot of the late great Australian Frank Gardner in the Alan Mann 2lt. Escort...

I have a British Saloon Car VHS of Gardner in the Escort climbing all over Davis Hobbs in a BIG block Falcon...

You happened to hit on one of my favs Joel.....

I'll pile on, as I love these cars too. Ross Bremer had Newman's old MkI paddocked next to Dick Strahota at the Lime Rock Vintage weekend and one of the Alan Mann cars was on hand too, but didn't run - or I missed seeing it on track. There were a couple of others on hand and they were flat out fast, turning faster laps than the Historic Trans Am cars that were racing that weekend too.

yes and yes and yes and yes!....lol

That Mann car did not play as I recall......but getting to see it was awesome as well.

There was an Escort there that was quite impressive....he did run away from the field..Sean Brown was driving....upon further research, this car is prepped to the max and quite trick....it was impressive. A Connecticut based 510 tried and tried to catch him, but could not. The 510 is owned by Mike over at Stonebridge classics.......very nice car as well...great guy too

Joel, I was watching that Escort going around the left hander - very impressive. The 510 just couldn't keep up.

I had forgotten how tiny the MkIs are.
