    Mystery washer pump

Anyone recognize this washer pump? Apparently very similar to a 300 Gullwing and Roadster except this is 12V.

It was mounted on 300011. Assuming it's not original but who knows what was used the first week of production?

Would love to know what's on 300013 for a washer pump.

pic taken by myself...its the" fin" reinforced type pump discussed recently by me ,myselfe and you

the flash gordon style arrows point to the T&B ties you already have in your shelf.
note funky drip tray and mounting

    Franz,
    You're awesome. A thousand thank you's.
    Do you ever sleep?

That jives with pics I have of a 912 prototype washer; I assumed the zip ties were installed by Rube Goldberg. Now I know it was a Porsche factory minion who installed them.

    Thanks again.

    Citroen?

Hummm... If it fits a 2CV I may consider this a crucial first step to owning one again.

All 300 SL washer pumps were muscle powered. The coupe had a cylindrical shaped pump located under the dashboard above the driver's right knee that moved water by pushing a plunger that extended from the cockpit end of the housing. The roadster pump was a bellows type located on the floor in the vicinity of the high beam switch. It was pumped by depressing the bellows with the driver's left foot.
