    FS: 1968 911 vintage race / street coupe

    This 911 coupe was formerly owned and campaigned by IMSA champion Walt Maas in west coast SCCA events in the late 90's-2001 with original set up performed by Jerry Woods. CSRG Log book dating back to 2001- present. Subsequently Restored to a very high standard by Steve Schmidt's team at Honest Engine in Costa Mesa CA over the course of 2006. The restoration included conversion of the body to R specification including light weight body panels, center fill hood, plexi windows, 6&7" Deep Fuchs, bare metal paint, light weight interior by Autos Intl. Engine and transaxle by Andial in Jan. 2006. Campaigned successfully in just 11 events since restoration. Culminating in the 2015 Monterey Motorsports Reunion and Rennsport Reunion with an article documenting the Rennsport event published in vol 25#4 of Esses. Currently CA street licensed and ready / eligible for all major Vintage events world wide.

    Priced at a fraction of the cost to build at $139,000.

    I don't think you'll ever find a cheaper ticket into Rennsport than this car. Amazing deal.
