This 1973 Porsche 911T was manufactured in March 1973, and it was the subject of a refurbishment completed in 2016 during previous ownership. It is finished in Oxford Blue over a beige interior and is powered by a rebuilt fuel-injected 2.4L flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. The selling dealer acquired it in November 2020, at which time the engine was removed, the piston rings were replaced, and the engine was reassembled with new gaskets and seals. Equipment includes black rubber rear bumper overriders, 15″ Fuchs wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, and a replacement AM/FM stereo with an auxiliary input. This 911T is now offered by the selling dealer in California with refurbishment records, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, a technical specifications manual, an owner’s manual, a tool kit, and a clean Oregon title.
The body was refinished in Oxford Blue in 2015, at which time rust was repaired on the fenders, doors, smuggler’s box, and windshield posts. The rear floor pan and right-front floor pan were also replaced. Features include Euro-spec headlights, black rubber rear bumperettes, a single chrome door mirror, and polished window trim. The rear fascia was repaired and refinished in 2020 to correct peeling paint.
15″ Fuchs wheels are wrapped in 195/65 Dunlop SP Sport 5000 tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs, and refurbishment work completed in 2016 included overhauling the brake and suspension systems.
The interior was refurbished in 2015 and features bucket seats upholstered in beige leatherette, matching headrests, two-tone door panels, tan carpets, and a black dash pad. A replacement AM/FM stereo with a digital display and an auxiliary input is fitted along with a beige lower dash insert. VDO instrumentation consists of a 150-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 17k miles, only a handful of which were added by the selling dealer since November 2020. True mileage is unknown.
The 2.4-liter flat-six was rebuilt in 2014 by Axiom Motorsports of Inglewood, California, and it features 2.7L cylinder heads and Bosch K-Jetronic CIS fuel injection. The engine was removed again in November 2020 to replace the piston rings, and it was reassembled with new gaskets and seals. The engine stamping reads *6134461* and matches the engine number listed on the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Type 915 five-speed manual transaxle stamped with the identification number 7338063, which corresponds to the number listed on the Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity lists factory colors and identification numbers along with optional equipment.
