*SOLD* NOS 911S factory aluminum deck lid

*SOLD*- NOS 911S factory aluminum deck lid

I bought this from another Early S member for my 71S restoration but due to timing/traveling it took a while for shipping ( no issued with seller just circumstance) and another deck lid was purchased and used in the restoration so I no longer have a need for this one.

Weighed 4.6 lbs still in the bubble wrap

    $4,700.00 obo

I Had never unpacked the deck lid fully as evidenced by my scale photo with the decklid still in bubble wrap. At the request of a party of interest I have unpacked fully and taken more photos and discovered there is one small dent that will need attention. Still I have never seen a real NOS factory aluminum deck lid this cheap but have adjusted the price $200 off to $4,500.

I have been asked about some of the black spots on the lid. I have never cleaned the lid but those spots are residual glue from being wrapped up .

Nice buy, I wanted to buy this lid but I already found the ones for my cars. When dealing with alloy rear lids the reproductions are not comparable to original in quality and most of the used ones are damaged in a way that they will never be right. Congrats on the sale.

    I know-I know --- a sh!t-load o' money for something that no one (except your maybe Body/Paint Guy) 'll ever see/appreciate . . .

    . . . but --- IMO . . . Faktory alloy panels are one of Porsche's 'signature' bits . . .

    . . . and NOS is --- well . . . . NOS

    Decent asking price, too --- IMO . . .
