    A Few days in LA

I'm heading down to LA for a few days--- first time in years.
Any Porsche digs I should make sure to see such as dismantlers, restorers, etc, etc???

The Porsche Experience Center in LA is opening. You can read about it at http://flatsixes.com/porsche-culture...r-los-angeles/. It's just 13 miles down the freeway from LAX. That's about six-seven hours during rush hour.

Restaurant 917 apparently opens this Saturday, 5 November 2016. The "driving experiences" start on Tuesday, 8 November 2016 but they're already booked solid until 18 November 2016.

You can see an event calendar at http://sgb.pca.org/resources/SGVR_Ca...2016-10-24.pdf

They're not Porsche-specific but there are some fabulous auto museums:

And, this Sunday (6 November 2016) you can join the cognoscenti's cognoscenti at the 356 Club Sunday Run to Flo’s and/or take in the Best of France and Italy.
