Were all 1972 911T front struts Koni?

I will be replacing the front strut inserts on my 72T coupe sometime soon.
I have not done a close visual on the strut housings to know if there are part #'s or markings but upon looking at the Porsche part manual it only shows part numbers 901 341 083 10 & 901 341 084 10 spring strut as being the only one for 72 are KONI

If so then the replacement insert would be Koni only.

    Can anyone verify this?

    Many Thanks

I don't think anyone can say for sure that any one part was used for sure on any particular year or model with certainty. Not to mention what might have been changed in the last however many years.
Really need to check, should be able to tell by the color of the housing. Koni's where orange, unless of course they have been painted

"72 911 Ts came standard with Boge struts and rear shocks. US dealers could order "sport suspension" which in early '72 would have been Koni. By late '72 into '73 the option came with Bilsteins. European customers were able to specify what shocks they wanted by brand, but I don't think this was ever offered here.
Boge struts were originally black, Koni orange, Bilstein green. To confuse things both Bilstein and Koni made inserts to fit Boge struts. Shocks were a wear item and commonly replaced. So after all these years one has to pull the insert out of the strut and check the threads and part #s on the insert. You can't rely on the color of the strut.
