WTB: 64-68 alloy engine case to save damaged engine

Long shot but see pics below from my 67S engine with damaged LHS (if standing and the rear of the car) engine case. I'm either going to replace the damaged case with another from a 64-68, then line bore etc to mate up and make good or else try to repair by using another "damaged-in-a-different-area case". Any pointers or help greatly appreciated. I'm in Northern Ireland but happy to pay shipping costs. Thx in advance - Robin

luckily thats not the matching numbered-side. You won't have a case match on the top # (see how you have "468" on both), but if you got a left case side from someone, you could have it line-bored to work. That left side you have would require a serious amount of repair work, and might not ever be right.

I've seen worse; piece a cake. When it's done it will be perfect.

I'm pretty sure I have a spare left and can put Humpty Dumpty back together again.
