    15x7 "7R" wheels?

Hi - all stock 1973 911s, want to put 7s on the rear, the offset ones that are hard to find or having them made from regular 15x6 flats.

Wondering if I can be certain they will fit with some Pirellis mounted (with a little wider size for the rear).

Oh, and if anyone knows of a set around that could be bought...

I'm running 7's all round with a 133mm backspace (7R's are 135mm from memory) - 205 in the front and 225 in the rear. I have the oil line diversion in the wheel well and shaved bolt heads on the trailing arms without any interference problems at all. Suggest you check the section width of whatever tyres you want to run - Tire Rack seems to list them for most tyres. If you have trouble sourcing 225's in the US, most manufacturer's have a great selection available in Japan - for the JDM compact market.

They work well in the rear with 15mm spacers and 225/50X15 tires. We have put on many of them....or equally well with most 215/60X15s.
