    911 Quarter light chrome removal

    How do I remove the chrome work for re-chroming from around my quarter lights?

    Heat gun works pretty well. Make sure to remove the latch mechanism first.

    Could you tell me how to remove the latch mechanism?

    Drive out the small pin in the base of the handle/latch that holds the inner to outer section. Sorry I'm out of state and can't send any pics. Perhaps another S Reg member can post. Good luck.

    make sure your chrome guy does not add to much material in the channel for the glass....
