    Solex Airfilter box Date stamps

Can anyone inform me a little bit more about the date stamps on Solex Airfilter box?
I read a lot about the date being located in the middle part of the airfilter box / the mainhousing.
It must be located at the exterior? Or can it also be at the interior when you remove the snorkel?

I also read a lot about solex airfilter housings without date.
So some have dates and other don't have....
Some make a difference in early early and just early versions.
Where can you see the difference? Because I can't see and want to learn a little bit about this ...

Maybe a expert can tell me a little bit more about the date stamps stuff on solex airfilter housings.
This is maybe also interesting for the other members on this forum?

    Thanks

Excellent photos. Makes it pretty easy. As far as other locations, this is the only place I have ever seen a stamp. There are some that have no stamp. Not sure about why. Someone else can chime in
