    zenith carb adjustments?

I have a 1970 911T with the original Zenith Carbs and I was wondering
about how to adjust it. I know there are richness adjustments for each
barrel and a de-accelleration circuit that needs adjustment but are there
any other adjustments that need to be made? I have adjusted these as well
as cleaned the jets but still get some "pops". What have I missed?

Thanks. Should probably start by balancing airflow as much as possible.
Last time I did it on PMOs it didn't seem to make
    much difference though. Thanks again.

eaton's suggested link is very good, anyway as you are going with zeniths you should also give a look at

    http://www.suggate.co.uk/zenith/new_site/zenith.htm

here you can find specific zenith manual and setup instructions

P.S. you should also describe your pops (thru carbs, thru exhaust, on accel, on decel, at how many RPMs you hear them) for us to help you.... please explain your problem.

On my 70 USA, When I took the Zeniths apart to clean them, I removed and plugged all of the hoses and related smog stuff. (even the electric gizmo...)
No more popping....Then increased the mains and readjusted and they ran almost "normal" (like a weber).
Much better...so much so that I decided to keep them.

My only suggestion is to be sure the rest of the engine is in good tune...
Valves adjusted, plugs, wires, cap & rotor clean and timing set.
