    Ok good, but give some information on whats the ndifference between the 2
    both made by the same manufacturer but they were not made at the same time
    they did not have two different versions in the same year so explain to me the version difference.. the separation at the LEG and years they go too.

    What evidence do you have of that? I think it's very likely there was significant crossover of badge varieties over multiple years. I'll try to post some photos of badges I can document to specific years when I have an extra hour.

    Note that both of these badges have the smooth back but the fronts are different specifically at the top front leg. One has the pointy object coming out from the body and the other has the flat object.

    Top 2 pictures are from a badge for sale on Ebay right now:

    So my conclusion is that there was more than 1 supplier of the so-called early smooth back badges.
