    FS: Early 911 Webasto Gas Heater - P1018, #00454

    EDIT - SOLD

This is the earliest style Webasto gas heater - P1018. It is also a fairly early serial number - 00454, so likely a really early 911 that got it.

    As pictured, as-is. $1350

I have my original per Kardex Webasto in 301 035 April car and it s serial is 01 237 So this indeed would be a very early Webasto. Were these installed in 356's? I think they are a different stye for 911 912 this would be early

the 911 was the fist porsche that webasto equipped with there gas heaters---
not an expert on 356--but i think they had eberspächer heaters.

if you are looking for a heater for 301035 that is close to #1237 .....#1235 is currently for sale on ebay.

attached a pic of a very very early unit.

note on the one offered here: it has the correct steel housing hardi pump.unlike the later aluminum type

    Cool stuff Moito
I have my matching webasto. 301035 has matching everything! What a score in this car and no rust was a big bonus. Was delivered to California then went to Arizona then back to California. Like waking up from a sweet dream

    Motto,
Is that the matching unit from 300096? if so that would put greggers in the 300400 to 300500 range?

Thanks for all the input, guys. If someone doesn't need it for an early 64/65, I'll throw it to the wolves on ebay.

nope 96 should have #243(i`m looking for this one.)

as far i as i understood from my digging in the webasto arcives.
porsches first order was 1000units..those have not been mounted on cars in the sequence 1-1000
    i even know of a aug/sept 66 my67 car with a below 1000 number.(#364)
and this is really odd cause webasto changed a few things on those units in spring 66.

    i have #382 and #832 both came off `65

note that the first 98 units are different to 99-so far i have not found out whats the exact difference but i assume its the blower motor.
