    Hello

    Nice purchase.
Do you know (for sure) Mr Car-reras, the model, year and month of car this badge came from?

    Many thanks

    Regards

Is this original? I thought there was not supposed to be dimples on back?

Yes, it's original. Earliest were flat on the back and later had dimples. Transition sometime in 1969 I think.

'72's had a smooth back. I showed pics of my badge which is one of the nicest original badges around. Still has the majority of its original Reu clearcoat. It was confirmed as original by a number of members and its smooth. There has always been a lot of confusion regarding the badges and what years they came on. I thought the pebbled backs started around '74.

Maybe these pics can help, is there a thread for the orange bars like there is for the 914/RS steering wheel?
