    1968 Door Lock Set Availability?

Does anyone know if 1968 door lock sets are available anywhere, or if they interchange with any other years? What are alternatives if these handles are not restorable, i.e., do handles from years fit these 68' doors? I should mention that I am building a modified Targa, so keeping it "stock" is not an issue.

I don't know but buying a used '68 door lock set isn't expensive. Call Jim at EASY and see if he's got some.

Seems like you are talking about three different things here. The physical locking mechanism the resides inside the door and makes contact with the striker plate. The lock tumblers that resides in the door handle that interacts with the key. Lastly, the door handle. Which part are you having trouble with?
