FS: Solex 40pi carbs, air cleaner, hard lines, gasket sets

For sale is an incredible set of Solex 40PI carbs with air cleaner, hard fuel lines, and nos Solex gasket sets. This set is in fantastic condition and could be NOS from what i can tell. The manifolds, butterflies, chokes, and throats are clean as a whistle. If fuel has passed through these it was not for long and they have been stored properly since new. The air cleaner retains its original sticker, rubber gaskets, and clips. Again like the carbs there is no corrosion on these and just have a few scratches etc from being moved around a few times. Also included are the hard fuel lines for this setup with original hardware etc. Lastly, there are NOS gasket sets which appear perfectly usable or may be more of a collectible at this point. This is a unique opportunity to get a complete setup for your early 911 restoration or survivor. The price for the entire lot of items is $12K. The link below has numerous photos for your review and if anything else is needed feel free to ask.

Very nice but certainly not NOS.

See the debris and residue in the corners and crevices? That's from being on a car.

    Good luck to you.

Fair enough, have never seen any others as clean that haven't been restored. Sometimes things collect a bit of dirt sitting around for 50 years too....

I have seen my share of NOS parts that have sat for decades in various environments. I assure you that is not storage residue on those carbs.

Unless they were stored with fuel in them and in the bed of a pickup truck that traveled several thousand miles.

Marvelous find but there's a HUGE difference between an NOS part and a lightly used part.

Lets not confuse NOS with PF (proven functionality). Nice set, good price for what is shown. They do not come as complete as this one these days.
