'68S on CL? (Not mine - No Aff)

    http://sfbay.craigslist.org/eby/cto/5872346758.html

Here's the te1968 Porsche 911 Coupe, 86,000 original mile 2 owner car, Rust Free straight body, all original metal, doors shut like new, have original books and maintenance records, tool kit, 5 fuchs, nice dash, seats, only missing motor, trans and front fenders, have everything else, very rare car, only 742 made, very few 68's were imported to the U.S. most rusted out in Germany, not many left especially in this condition, VIN # 11835480 warranty card says motor number is 328 1323, have lots of parts that come with it, some new, see pictures, clean title, looking for $30K cash for car/motor/trans and all parts, no lowball offers, $24K firm for car only with parts, I have lots of pictures to email for the serious, just reply off of the ad. thanks Randy

UPDATE: I also have a 1972 Porsche 911 Motor and 5 speed Transmission, complete from exhaust to air cleaner, motor turns freely, motor number is 6121006 $9,000
I will make a package deal on both for $30K firm, partial trades considered

besides the VIN I'm not seeing much "S" there, wrong tacho, aluminium dash trim rather than basketweave, regular badge on the decklid and glovebox.

You're right, just the title of this thread says 68S.

    That's not a 68S VIN. 68S would be 1180XXXX. The "3" indicates S on 69-72 model year

Hello I looked at the car and its very dry. Looks complete and not a pile of rust. Front try was replaced and had some patch panels in
right wheel house and under battery. 15 X 5 1/2 wheels. Was paid to go look it over so I would need to pay back if you want pictures.
    Thanks George
