    Blaupunkt Frankfurt question

What is the adjustment screw in the top right hand side of the dial of a Blaupunkt Frankfurt for?

    Thanks in advance.

Probably AM band antenna trim adjustment. Lots of old radios had that. The idea was that once installed, you would tune in a weak AM station and turn the trim screw for best reception. That optimized the tuner to your particular antenna. Should have no affect on FM reception.

Thanks Arne, I was hoping that's what it was for, as my station reception seems to be a bit "off". Unfortunately I am experiencing that on the FM band.

Well, I don't recall that it helped on FM at all, but it's been a long time since I've had a radio with a trim screw. It certainly won't hurt to try it. I'd try first on FM, since that's where your issue is. If that doesn't seem to have any effect, I'd trim it on AM too.
