    1967S engine numbers?

    can the numbers stamped on the motor reveal if it is a S motor?

    You can find a list of chassis numbers, engine numbers etc. in the "little spec booklet" WKD-421-020 Pocket "Technical Specifications" Booklet

    The table's duplicated in Brett Johnson's The 911 & 912 Porsche, A Restorer's Guide to Authenticity (in much larger type).

    I recommend both as essential for any SWB owner.
