revitalising this 2016 thread about the Bilstein jacks. In my search for the correct 1973 (April) jack, I found that there a few more green dot jacks than the three mentioned in this thread:
1) lollypop, curved handle (green or yellow dot? > yellow seems to be VW?), folded steel tongue, Bilstein mark on top "late-72 through early-73"?
2) short teardrop shaped pressing straight handle, folded steel tongue, Bilstein mark on top "april '73 on"?
3) short teardrop shaped pressing straight handle, cast tongue (w. Bilstein logo), 2 indentations on top w. Bilstein logo ??
4) longer teardrop shaped pressing straight handle, extended, cast tongue (w. Bilstein logo), 2 indentations on top w. Bilstein logo 74-75?
5) longer teardrop shaped pressing straight handle + larger base (with 911 turbo instructions) 76/77-turbo?
Not trying to open up old wounds here (), but is there more info or owner knowledge to precise these dates ? I guess, for April 1973, the "short teardrop handle" seems to be the correct type, but with what lever/tongue?
thanks in advance for info!
Tom

The 1973 driver’s ( owners in USA) manual photo has the distinctive up / down yellow version ... sometimes photos aren’t representative of final production spec however. Not common but I do have one of these (posted photos of it elsewhere previously ) …
This axin my English .20 RoWmanual . Can’t recall off hand if other country manuals have same image.
Not convinced the cast peg/ prong version on previous posts here is pre 74 — folded shown in photo
