    FS: @914world - Early Blaupunkt AM/FM 914-6

Sold! Have this for sale over on 914world, you could change out the faceplate for an early 911 if you wanted, actually I might have an extra 911 faceplate.

Excellent cosmetic condition and tested and all functions working great even the dial light. Comes with all the hard to find and expensive pieces. Correct basket weave faceplate, front mount chrome trim, side mounting clips, inner and outer knobs and speaker plug. This radio would be correct for '70 thru '72 early 914's and 914-6's. Price is $575 and includes PayPal fess and shipping in the USA.

Had a PM saying 914-6's did not get mono radios installed only "Stereo" version. This is incorrect more 914-6's came over with "mono" version or no radio than stereo version. Stereo version Blaupunkt's were very expensive back then. Anyone else have an opinion?

Fairly sure that is correct Mike. My '71 6 came with a mono radio.

I parted out a '73 914 1.7 back in '88 and it had that exact same radio. Mono version.

I'd agree that most were mono. My early -6 has the Porsche-logoed Motorola AM/FM mono which I think was most common here in the US for the 1970 cars. Good list of radios offered is posted here: http://bowlsby.net/914/Classic/Accessories.htm
