Do a search for "comfort equipment, Appearance Group or equipment" and you will find pages of talk about that subject. You haven't mentioned the year and model of your car or your location. That will help to answer your question, as well.

thanks Jim. its 1970 911T
Also look for "option group".
Noise suppression is essentially parts to reduce electrical noise from the ignition system being picked up by the radio. Not sure if that included special ignition leads or not.
US equipment is things like instruments in English, miles on speedo, seal beam headlights, suspension settings, laminated safety glass.

Thanks gentlemen. I did a search and found that the comfort equipment package includes S style bumper trim, rocker moldings, and instrumentation which is what my car has..... thanks again.
Comfort equipment can also mean 14" Fuchs. Chris

Dave, no it does not have wheel arch trim. Only the thick S rubber trim, chrome rocker mouldings, rubber bumperettes, and upgraded instruments;
Chris, it may have had the 14" wheels but it now has deep 6 15". we are pretty sure they came from another car....
I tip my hat to you for taking on the rescue of that car, Telephunken. I looked at it in Eugene a few months ago and decided it needed help beyond my skills. Kudos to you for working to save it.

This car wasn't by any chance, a car that had gone off the road attempting to miss a deer was it? The car I'm thinking of had a 2.7 motor.
