    Cross struts for sunroof cars

    Hi.
What is the correct number of cross strut for the inner roof liner for my 71 S with sunroof?
is its possible to use the one Porsche have in stock today, or do I have to do some customwork for perfect fit?

Porsche classic does not produce inner roof lining anymore, but both Stoddard, Sierre Madre and 911 design have Inner roof liner with the same structure that the original, is it any better avalible?

Hi Stig, do you mean headliner bows? If so unlike solid roof cars, sunroof cars do not use any bows at all. Solid roof cars use 4 steel bows. New ones from Porsche do not fit, they are making them to large.

    Hi, and thanks Alan.
So on my sunroof car I only have to glue the inner roof liner to the sheet metal in top of window frame and sun roof frame?

There should be a very thin layer of foam between the headliner and the sunroof tray sheetmetal and a felt "donut" around the interior lights.

    Thanks
Yes I have this original foam, and the roof liner is in the post.
