    Horn help

    All,
    does anyone know of someone who restores the banjo horns. I'm finishing complete rebuild of my early 73 targa and need the horns i have restored so they look nice and work again.

    What is the build date of your car?
    Shouln't 73 have trumpet horns and not banjo horns?
    Can you post a picture of your horns?

    Trumpets after January 73, more or less.
    How bad are your horns? Buy a new set of black trumpet horns remove the trumpets, and switch your plastic banjo's to the new electric portion. You can use plastic cleaner and polish to clean up the banjos.

    So the electric portion of the new replacement trumpet horns will fit the Banjo plastic?

    My early '73 had Banjos. I think they were used until the first quarter sometime of 1973. My car was built 9/72.
    I do not have any pics.

    here is a picture of the electrical portion of the banjo horns, they look identical to the trumpet electrical, as seen above.
    Certainly worth a try, I can't see a difference. Except for the type of connection.
