Are These Seats Correct For A Late 73?

Looking at a late 73 911T with original special order red leather interior. Wondering about the front seats as the headrests don't have the "peanut" shape that I've seen on all 72/73 911's. Perhaps the earlier style headrests were used for leather interior? Can you interior experts take a look and let me know what you think?

Im no expert but since sport seats came with D headrests when they were leather i would think the standard seats would be the same way.

Thanks. Interesting. Didn't know that. Does make sense the standard leather seats would be the same.

I believe lat 73 seats would have peanut headrests. Also, no perforations in center section.

Just read some older posts. All LEATHER seats in 73 used the D headrests and had the perforations in center sections.

Well, once again, you cannot make "all Porsches were X" statements as I recently had a pair of leather peanut headrests that were OE.

I agree with this. The June 73 T I just sold had beautiful original black leather seats and they had both perforations and "D" headrests, along with double lockers. The car was a great original survivor.
This car pictured with the red leather seats looks like a car the Victor Miles had many years ago. It was an original paint silver with red leather 73. It had these exact seats in it. Last time I saw the car it was in Santa Barbara Ca.
