FS: Vintage Cosmic Alloy Wheels - 15 x 5.5 Made in England

These are rare wheels - and surprisingly, in good shape. They could use some paint refinishing, but aren't curbed and corroded like most that come up once in a blue moon.

These were built for narrow body cars back when there weren't that many options for light wheels.

Greg, cool wheels. Gotta admit I've never seen these before. Anybody post a pic of them on a P-car? GLWS.

Thanks man. Because they are rare - it's hard to find photos - here's one.

I've gotta admit, I've never seen them on a 911. VW guys love them and I could show you plenty of pictures on beetles, notchbacks, and busses but here's one that I found on the samba.

I guess Floridians like them as both photos show from the Sunshine State, Northam Collection in Orlando and the latter photo from Daytona Beach during a Rolex 24.

Here is a set of Cosmics on my 65 356 that I had painted copper to make them even uglier than they are.
    $2,000.00? AYFS?
    Good Luck

    Ciao

Jim - I don't mind you chiming in and helping with accuracy on my and other people's posts, but maybe you should dial back the scoffing at prices and realize maybe the prices you remember from 10 or 20 years ago aren't applicable now?
