    1968 Engine lid grille

    Can anyone help?
Which is the correct type of engine lid grille that should be fitted to my March 1968 911S?
    Regards.
    Jim.

Should be a 3-bar grill, Jim.

If a 3 bar grille is correct does the engine lid have a central bar?
    Regards,

The central bar on the engine lid stopped in November 67. My 68 was built in feb and has no central bar and a 3-bar grill.
This thread should help with the 68 changes.

No it doesn't. It's another 68 one year only item. Is similar to the 69 - 73 lid but has specific mounting tabs for the 3 bar grill not the 5 bar one. Am sure a 69 - 73 could be backdated quite easily though.
