    Yours is/was probably a 300 model. The set sold here are 333.

    Stephen, I think the actual mirror and "barrel" are the same. For lack of a better term, the "pedestal" that mounts to the car differs. Either are period correct and could have been purchased after-market for use on a 911, but I *think* the factory used the 300 model. I arrive at that conclusion based on those shown on factory race/rally cars in the period.

    That's great info, Bill: thanks so much! I have a set of 333s which I was planning fitting to 304598, but not so sure, if they are not exactly a factory option!
