    Watching for Market Changes?

I'm interested in posing a question for long-term discussion, and this seems to be the best place for that discussion....

As we watch the presidential transition unfold, the stock market is moving higher, the dollar is stronger, and the euro is weaker. In its simplest terms, any US citizen who travels to Europe right now would get a really good exchange rate on US dollars to Euros.

I am interested to observe whether the weak Euro will have an impact on our prices for Early 911 cars and parts? Of course, there is a natural boom/bust cycle to markets, even without outside forces. But with Brexit; and Italian banking and political issues, it seemed like the Early S Registry might have a long enough 'reach' to offer some interesting insights.

For what it is worth, we had an episode that might be similar to this in the 356 community during the 90s. The Japanese economy was hot and they liked 356s. When their economy tanked, the 356 market softened significantly. My sense is that the Early 911 market is substantially broader, but I wanted to open this discussion to see what others think.

We've had a nice run in Early 911 market values. I wonder what impact world events will have on our community?
