Complete 2.0L Motor

It gets even better, this is an unstamped warranty case.
The complete build has 35K miles on it. I took out the “E” cams
this year and had them sent out and Reground due to some scoring
that occurred on them when one of the Rocker arms gave out.
The Cams were sent out and reground professionally and installed
By Renntech in Auburn, CA and the rocker arm was replaced and the
Cam Towers were resealed. The Motor was built back in the late 1990’s
by Doug Ellsworth in Mountain View.
The motor was built with “E” cams and “S” pistons. The motor had a set
of re-jetted Zenith Carbs which I have since sold off. The engine was in a
1972 911T I purchased but I am doing a ST Recreation and I sourced a
3.4L Twin Plug motor from Ted Robinson that I will be using. I am also
finishing up a restoration on a 1968 911 T Targa and these proceeds
will help move the project along
The engine comes with the following items:
Engine Tins & engine mount, Distributor, Clutch and Flywheel, & Heat Exchangers.
The numbers on the Motor are as follows:
Date code 1967 see pic.
Case PN- 901.101.102.OR
Case PN- 901.101.101.OR
Cam Tower PN- 901.105.111.OR
The Cylinder heads are K1819b.
tTe date codes are 1-65, 2-65, 3-65, 1-66, 1-66, 6-67.
As you can see in the picture the Vin Pad area near the alternator is
blank due to the fact that this is was a warranty case. The prior owner
did have this in a1972 911 and the Doug Ellsworth the tech who built
the motor for him suggested he stamp the case with 911 / 57 which
would have been correct for his 72 that had a 2.2.
I have searched all around the forums and tried to come up with a value
for this complete running engine. I did contact another member Carreracv
on this forum and he just sold a complete engine like mine in November 2016
with No carbs or Exhaust (which mine comes with) and he confirmed for me that he actually got
22K Euros which equates to $23,000 US. So I think I'm in the ballpark.
I'm asking $21,000 or best reasonable offer.
