    Double Pierburg fuel pump

Can anyone tell me until when the double Pierburg fuel pump was used?
Does all the cars built in 1965 but modelyear 1966 had these? Maybe the last vin number which is known?
Or does this stopped, when the solex carbs stopped in february 1966?

    Thanks

Once they stopped using Solexs there was no need for a double pump.

The information's in the little spec booklet:

The last engine with Solex carburetors and the Pierburg "Tandem" Pump was # 903910, 21 February 1966.

Of course it raises the question of whether 21 February 1966 was they day Porsche built engine # 903910 or whether it's the day Porsche finished the car with engine # 903910.
