    PY65 MY66 302562 Horn Grill

After reading for an hour or so i cant tell if i should track down 4 screw or 2 screw horn grills for this car as i will need them after putting correct fenders on the car. This car is also a european delivered car if that makes any difference. I know i missed a post which answers this somewhere?

    Hi Chuck,
I think this is the thread I mentioned to you. The first car listed was owned by a friend, 302947 and it was a 4 screw grill car. Lots of good info in that thread.

I also mentioned to you a "truth table" thread, and I don't think that's the one, perhaps others can mention it.

Yes, it would seem that 4 screw grilles and matching fenders will be required. The changeover seems to be between 3150 and 3400.

If you're not fanatic about originality, your body shop can weld tabs for the four screw grill's four screws into the opening. Nobody will see the tabs with the grill installed.

And if your body shop is good they will make the tabs in such a way that you cant tell that they are not original - along with most likely making the fender lip even and modifyiing the headlight bucket
