Simple question: 901 shifter shaft diameter?

Merry Xmas folks. I have a simple question that I'm not at home to answer for myself right now. What is the diameter of the shifter shaft end on a 901 transmission? Somebody gave me an early 356 shifter knob (10 mm) as a gift and I don't think it will fit.

    Thanks,

    Rich

Shift levers for all 356, 911 and 912 models from 1960 through mid-1967 had 15mm threaded ends.
Your 10mm knob is for 356 models before 1960.
