    Seat tilting reclining locking mechanism

    Hi

I'm looking for this part but can't find it anywhere, can't seem to find any pictures where this part is actually visible.

It's the part that actually 'locks' the seat.

    Can anybody help me?

    Thanks!

What year and type seats do you have? How about a picture? I've got the pieces you need. We just need to determine what that is.

    No, you haven't!
The seat stops on 69 and later cars are bolted to the seat pans and can be easily removed. 67 seat stops are riveted to the seat pans, are slightly different and can not be removed for all intents and purposes.
Now, I going to assume that you believe that you are missing something on your car because the driver's seat does not "lock".
    You aren't missing anything.
67 seats only "lock" on the passenger side.
Porsche omitted the lock on the driver's seat between the years of 1963 (356B) and 1968 (911 and 912) for some unknown reason.
By the way, you still haven't answered my question.

    Happy New Year

    Jim
PS: The picture I just took is of a passenger side seat. Notice the hooks. Your driver's side seat does not have the hooks that keep the seat back from folding forward.
