Thread: Dual circuit brake conversion question

    Dual circuit brake conversion question

Do you need the metal hard lines that connect to the dual circuit MC, or is there a way to safely run soft lines. Not trying to do something silly, just not sure what the options are on an early car.

Thanks, and best early wishes for a Happy New Year.

There are vendors selling complete lines for a '68 at reasonable prices. Plus a hollow bolt/banjo etc. change the fluid reservoir and lines. And you will need to modify the length of your pedal push rod. If memory serves that will do it.

And while you are at it, use a LWB pedal cluster with the electric switch for the brake lights instead of the -67 hydraulic switch.

Good morning, thanks for the note back. Is this a bolt on change? Sorry, long hood newbie.
