Front & engine compartment correct black coating on an early 911S SWB

    Hi all,
In the process of finishing my early 911S (Nov. 1966) full bare shell restoration this is to ask what kind of black paint or coating you suggest as the most similar to the original for the interior of the front and engine compartments, and if there is somewhere a photo reference to see where it should be exactly applied.
Kind regards and an Happy New 2017 to all members!

I've used Würth High-Build Underseal in my car's engine bay, although my car's a bit older than yours.

It's hard for me to tell the fresh Würth High-Build Underseal goo from the original goo.

Thanks NeunElf. Anybody else with another suggestion for a factory-correct black finish?

Wonder if a zinc based etching primer would be a good base prior to a black coat?

We always use 2k epoxy (black in case of black finish) or etch/wash primer (black...) to start on bare metal. Then a primer, underseal, (coat and clear coat). For underseal areas mostly wet-in-wet can be applied.
