    1967S sport seats left and right?

    I have a pair of beautiful unrestored 1967S sport seats.

    they both appear to be "left" seats because on both seats the hinge cover is only on the left side.

    Would it be correct in 1967 that driver and passenger side seats were the same in regards to hinge cover and slider knob?

    Although I could be wrong I believe the sport seat on the SWB cars were originally meant only for the drivers side.

    Interesting thought, as the first tip brackets were non-locking, I believe that you could certainly order a pair of them. As I recall there's a very well documented low mileage silver 67S that was on the forum many times and it had original left and right seats (with the roll type headrests). It would be interesting to see if the first option lists from 1966 for 1967 had drivers side only on that seat.
