    Becker radio install in swb

I was lucky enough that the previous owner kept the original radio even if it was not working
Cost more to fix then buy a new one . Grin..
    The dash is unmodified
Its a becker grand prix with the amp at the back
But i assume its not just held with the post
But there does not seem to be any holes for a bracket

So does any one has a picture of it and where it goes

    Thanks in advance

    F 14,

when you go to install the amp,you might consider putting it under the passenger's toeboard.
I did this with my RHD '71 S and it worked well.
The GP takes a couple of seconds to warm up but its a great radio even after you turn the motor on !

Ok so after looking at it some more
Found that the radio mounts alone with a nut at the back and a small bracket
The hole from the original install was there
So you install the radio to the body then you add the amplifier to the mounted radio
    Et voila
2 weeks and the new knobs will be here and i should be done with the radio wiring
