    It is going into a 2.5 with carburetors. I believe new ones from Porsche is about $600 a side

    Looks like the only S cams available from Porsche are MFI.
    I show more like $1450 for the bro deal?

    Why not have some non-S cores hard-welded and re-ground? I'll sell you as many cores as you want to buy for $250 pair.

    Frank offers a great solution.
    You can also visit Supertec's site on selecting cams based on engine and performance desired.
    Cams used for similar engines have been Solex , Mod S and other variations.
    Believe there is a guy who specializes in cams and reprofileing ....
    Check out the bird for engine building and you will find sources.
