    Price Check - SWB Dash

I searched but found little information regarding value of SWB Dash. I have one that I had freshly refinished with near identical-to-original black vinyl with correct speaker perorations. Material kit provided by AI. Insight appreciated. Thanks

A new one through AASE and provided by Porsche Classic is $1,700 for both parts. I'd guess $1,300 for a refinished original one.

    Thanks Jordan

Thanks for info, but appears AASE offering is hard, injection molded main dash with separate insert for the back, ala 68 style. I have original 65-67 style where the vinyl is stretched over an original core. Although the back section is covered separately in vinyl, it gets integrated into the dash as one piece via thin curved metal band held in place by a series of finger tabs.

I've ordered one, I'll let you know when it arrives. In the end it's worth what the market will bear. With A reupholstered dash it's all about the quality of the end result.
