    70 911T with Carbs-FUEL PUMP???

    What is the best option to end up with the most reliable fuel pump for my 70 911 T with carbs? If there is a new one I can buy that is as reliable as the original I would do that. I have heard that rebuilding the original one might be a more realiable solution. If so, who rebuilds the fuel pumps?

    You should install the proper fuel tank while you're waiting the 2-3 weeks.

    Also , make sure you replace those old fuel lines .
    And fuel filter and fuel accumulator.

    I had my original pump rebuilt on my 71 T, seems to work just fine. You can find NOS out there, but very pricey

    Fuel Injection Corp is the only way to fly.

    What's wrong with a later tank? After all, the owner will be able to travel another 100 or so miles between fillups.
