    FS: 1967 912 $114,400 at Gooding Today

Sorry, not a 911 but certainly 911 price level. Fluke or am I missing something? Perhaps two big egos with even bigger bank accounts? I am thrilled to see it as a 1966 912 owner but estimate was $60-80,000

    Does anyone know this car?

    Correction hammer was $104k

Ya and for his 100Gs he got the incorrect front latch panel. What did that hide? Those pesky details once again.

Good catch, no pun intended. I also noticed Bonhams had a 1966 911 but noticed a couple of things right away, has 2-screw horn grilles unless my eyes are playing tricks, also washer "bottle" in nose, shouldn't it be a washer "bag" in passenger front fender? Why do an "award winning restoration" and miss things like that?

also a replacement left front fender and some very strange welding at the upper right engine bay and the bottom of the left door. It looked well done though and had a great color combo.

The 66 911 was at bonhams, the 912 sold at gooding.

Both of those features are correct for this VIN -- 304307 -- 2-screw grill and washer bottle.

Interesting, so the changes were made during 1966. Thanks Bill.

Keeps going like that and some of the 911 junkers may become donors for 912s. Disclosure: I have two 912s.

The only difference ,besides the engine ,in a restoration of a SWB 911 or 912 is what you have to initially pay for the project. AMHIK!!!
