    Solex 40 PI Carburetor set

I got this set of carbs with some parts that I got from a former import dealer service manager's estate several years ago. I've tried to show as many pictures in the link below as I can. If you need any more pictures let me know. What I show is all that I have for the setup. I'm not really a Porsche guy so I can't really answer too many questions but will try. The throttle shafts are stuck but I thought it is leave any disassembly and repair to an expert. I contacted one of the places in California that rebuilds these and they recommended selling them here. Hopefully they find a good home and complete someones early 911 build. SOLD 3/24/17 $3400 plus shipping.

Might I suggest more pictures close up? Top Bottom and sides of both carbs? The more the merrier especially since they are frozen. There are small numbers on the two jets on top near the end Venturi Those numbers may also help you

Sure I'll take pics of the jets. Did you check the photobucket link at the bottom of the post? There are about 15 pics there.

Well like I said I'm not a Porsche guy so I'm open to being educated on their fair market value. I talked to a couple guys and looked around online and even crusty ones seemed to be in this ballpark. Not trying to hide anything about them or pretend they're in perfect shape. Any info or pics needed let me know.

It looks like you have the third set of jets--rather rare. One of the stories is that the cars ran really, really well with those jets but Porsche had already signed the contract with Weber.
