    Bosch distributor repair

I have searched this forum for this topic and came up empty. Any one have an info source for the do it
Your self type. What little I have found refer to spring, magnets, grease etc. just need a littl direction.
The cost of having redone commercially would imply there's allot to it but want to do it myself if possible.

Its not the disassemble / reassemble that is hard. Its the knowledge about what to look for, how to set up, the equipment to spin and adjust that makes it hard or impossible for the do for the "do it yourself-er" to do.

You might research here a little

Jeff is a very knowledgeable guy, he may be able to help you out.

For cleaning and lubrication see here: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsc...utor-lube.html

If it needs to be rebuilt, you need a professional with a distributor machine and access to Bosch parts.

Barry can do it, I have used him, but he is expensive.

I have used Ed Fall at Vintage Werks with great success: http://www.vintagewerks.com/

+1 Ed Fall and I'd give Kurt a shot as well. Just don't have anything for him right now..... I think.
