    Bill Doyle passed away

The Porsche Motorsport community lost a great man and one of the most gifted. Billy was one of my best friends. He touched many in the Porsche world with his Four Cam work or with his generosity and knowledge. But beyond the car Bill was a true friend, husband to Leona and all around good guy. This really hits home. The world is a poorer place. There are no words.

Talked to Bill at the last Rennsport event, it had been a long time since I`d seen him. Some of my favorite Porsche memories were from Elkart Lake at the Vintage races in the early 90s. We had 4 Spyders there from Nebraska, and Bill was a busy guy all weekend helping us out. Drank lots of beers and had great times........miss ya brother RIP

So glad I had a chance to meet Bill a couple of years ago at Steve's Honest Engine.

A legend and an encyclopedia of 356 Carrera knowledge. He will be sorely missed. RIP

Oh no...rest in peace Bill. I've heard lots of cool stories about him...one of very few who could rebuild a 4 cam properly as I understand it...
