    plexiglas logo location.

Does anyone on the board have access to any cars or photo's that show the location and orientation of the plexiglas logo.?

The attached image is etched on the lightweight plastic glass fitted in ST competition cars. I am interested in the location to all the side glass.

Any leads would be much appreciated.

In the " Another hot rod " thread on page 17, post #170 it shows plexiglas windows NOS, you can see some of the stampings. I have photos of R5 the TdeF car, plastic windows, with the thermo stamp, " RESARTGLAS D-15 51" If you want to compare.

    plastic window markings

First I'll start off with 911R #5, the Tour de France car. Plastic windows (left and right sides) are thermo stamped with " RESARTGLAS D-15 51 " photos show the right side vent window stamped at the top, the roll up right side window stamped at the upper left rear. Note: the louvered side windows have been replaced (no markings) on this car sometime prior to my photographs, BUT I've included a photo of the ORIGINAL left side louvered window of #5, with the Corsica decal (when it ran the event), it shows the RESARTGLAS stamp in the rear corner. The rear window is plastic, and appears to be original with NO markings. Windshield is glass. Also, 911R #5 was made prior to Nov. 6, 1967 so you get an idea when the RESARTGLAS windows were made.
