    How rare is factory A/C on a 1969 911?

I have a 1969 911 with factory A/C. I see so few with this on it and it got m wondering how rare it actually is.

Not so common on a '69. Unfortunately buyers don't seem to get very excited about it.

How about posting some pics? Especially of the front condenser and fan.

    aint no fac air

    Koolaire

Now you really have a problem. Body has been Swiss cheese'd.

A/C is not on Kardex or CoA, correct?

I don't have a Kardex yet. Here in Florida, A/C is more important than other parts of the country. Bummer it's not factory, but I'm still glad it's there. The car is a modified outlaw/RS style anyway so it's not like originality is the order of the day.

My '69 came from Florida and retained most of a Coolaire system when I got it in '79. Degree of "Swiss cheesing" apparently depended on the skill and interest of the aftermarket installer. I'd rate mine as a 5/10 while removing the hoses and plugging unnecessary holes. A little more thought at installation would have saved me a lot of work later on. Still have many of the Coolaire parts sitting on a shelf.
